This next sister to be featured in my Women’s History Month Empowerment series is the dynamic MaNazah Chandler. I connected with this sister on facebook and I’d be lying to you all if I said I don’t want to share everything she posts. Seriously, she’s brilliant, passionate, creative, and has a deep love for her people.

Here, read some of her bio below;

The eldest raised in a single-parent home in the small town of Muskegon, MI, MaNazah Chandler effortlessly graduated Cum Laude from Muskegon High School (MHS) in June 2010. Shortly after, she moved out of her mother’s house, moved out of her hometown, moved to Detroit, and started college at Wayne State University (WSU), all at 17. The first of her generation to finish college; MaNazah graduated in May 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from WSU at 22. She’s also a 3-Year AmeriCorps Alum who understands the importance of being a Servant Leader for the community.

What I truly love about the work MaNazah is doing and the ways in which she is doing it, is how she is so calm and subtle, yet powerful and commanding. Watch any of her videos on her facebook page, and you’ll feel as if you’re being pulled into a trance. Her voice is powerful and commanding, filled with love and grace, and she speaks with you, not at you, in an affirming way. She’s incredible!

Here, read more of her bio here;

A documentary titled, “My Girl Story”, which MaNazah provided Voiceover (VO) Narration for, was selected into two 2019 Film Festivals in Detroit: I See You Awards & Trinity International Film Festival (TIFF). The short film titled, “FAMOUS the Movie”, where MaNazah played a short speaking role, was also accepted into the TIFF. She also did some voiceover placements for the Bruce Willis FILM, “A DAY TO DIE”, which premiered in theaters in March 2022.

She spent half of 2020 serving as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for 5th Grade through University Prep Schools (UPrep). Ms. M has not returned to teaching as she is looking for other opportunities that are more in alignment with her today.

MaNazah is an incredibly well rounded artist, which also means she is well learned. That’s one of the things I appreciate about her and her work. The way she blends her knowledge with her creativity in a way that speaks to the human soul and inspires you to act, to make a shift, is a true benefit for all who encounter her.

Here’s the rest of her bio;

MaNazah is currently working on several creative projects, with her focus on content creation and writing. She’s organizing everything into quotes, social media posts, videos, articles, eBooks, and books, as she works hard to manifest her dream of becoming a Bestselling Author.

I was on her facebook page and came across a post she had made on October 20th, 2021, and I quoted part of that post. Read below;

“ALIGN to her magnitude or be repelled with GRATITUDE. Her attitude is a challenge. With or without you, she’ll always find BALANCE.”
